With a full year before he needs to make his decision, Young has narrowed down his list.Taking to Twitter on Monday, Young announced that he had reduced his final list to six teams. The six include Georgia, Louisville, Purdue, Kentucky, Ohio State and Michigan.Coming out of the Christian Academy Of Louisville, Young is a four-star prospect. Per 247Sports, he is the No. 306 overall prospect in the country, the No. 29 offensive tackle in the country, and the No. 4 prospect from the state of Kentucky.Top 6… 🖤 pic.twitter.com/QgzuNZAL1e— John Young (@the_johnyoung) March 11, 2019Naturally, the Kentucky-native included the top two schools from his home state in UK and Louisville, but he also presents four other top schools from the Big Ten and SEC with a chance as well.In picking his top six, Young also snubs offers from the likes of Auburn, FSU, Penn State, Oregon, and Northwestern, among others. It’s still early in the recruiting process, but the first 247Sports’ Crystal Ball prediction has him staying in state and heading to kentucky.Such a move would be a huge get for the Wildcats, as they currently have only two three-star recruits committed for 2020.
